Reevaluating & Redesigning Your Rhythms & Routines
A Guided Coaching Exercise to Help You Realign Your Rhythms & Routines to Your Season
How can we number and make the most of the days we've been given?
This is a question of purpose, meaning, and wisdom that endcaps core seasons and pivotal moments -- the beginning and end of the year, the life or death of a loved one, birthdays, and life transitions.
At our core, we want to make sure that we're doing the right things, the things that will matter most and make the difference in the end. I shared more about this in my last post and how I am numbering and making the most of my days. One of those ways is through rhythms and routines.
Rhythms are made up of rituals and routines that provide us with a sense of familiarity, and create consistency and comfort as we ebb and flow throughout our days, while routines work within rhythms by giving us structure and discipline, helping us to form the habits necessary to carry out our calling and achieve our goals.
Here are some of the benefits of implementing rhythms and routines:
Rhythms and routines help us focus on who we are becoming, not just what we are doing or accomplishing.
Rhythms and routines free up our mental capacity by creating a decision-making framework and setting boundaries for how we spend our time.
Maybe like me, you are also reevaluating how your rhythms and routine are serving you in this season, or maybe you are considering implementing new ones that will better support your goals. If so, you're in luck! I've created a guided coaching exercise designed to help walk you through the process of creating intentional and life-giving rhythms that suit your season.
