30 Over 30 | A Limited Podcast Series | Pt 2
Welcome back to part two of this limited-time podcast series, 30 over 30. If you’re just tuning in, last month I turned 30 on October 11th. Thirtieth birthdays are one of those milestones that really cause you to take a step back and reflect on where you’ve been and where you are going.
Today, I’m sharing lessons 21-30. 💫 I found myself unexpectedly getting emotional at the end of this recording. I guess because so much of my future feels so unknown and uncertain… and that scares me. If you had told me that 30-year-old me would have a toddler and a set of twins, and be a stay-at-home mom, I probably would’ve laughed in disbelief, politely rebuked you, telling you to take several seats (🤚🏾👉🏾🪑). No way in a million years did I ever think this would be my life. But this is my life.
I am a stay-at-home mom, pursuing purpose and presence in the margins of the messy middle, learning how to find meaning in the mundane while surrendering my plans and dreams. Dreams that I honestly wonder will ever come true. I have no idea how this story will end, let alone the details of the next chapter. But with hopeful anticipation, I turn the next page.
