I am grateful for this new day and breath in my body. With all that has happened in the past week, I have been reminded that God is still in control. As I lay here in the stillness of the morning, I am watching the trees (leafless) sway, the clouds move, and the sun trying to peek through. We are in Fall, and it will soon be winter, time for hibernation, cocoons, reflect and be still. I am grateful for my mind and memory. That (again) remind me nothing is too big for God, nothing is new to him, it is already written, and He will be my peace in this storm. Grateful heart. 💕
I'm grateful for the library outing I had with the kids that turned into an unexpected trip to the beach. I'll share a little more about it in this week's (Joy)Cap, but long story short, there is a playground at the St. Simons library that sits next to the ocean and pier. I enjoyed watching the kids run and play and listening to the sounds of the water. It was one of the peaceful moments I had in what was another chaotic week. 🤎
