I have been doing my best to do the same! With every trial it gets easier to wake up praying and acknowledging God from morning to dusk. When we say praying without ceasing, I think some of the world might think “another thing I can fail at!” But truly as time goes on it’s a matter of turning our face to the warmth of the Son over and over, walking backwards into uncertainty, focused on Him.
Ooo, that's so good, Chanel! I've been spending the summer reading the Psalms, and from spending so much time in them, I've been learning more and more what it looks like to pray continuously and authentically -- by yes, praising God but also being real and raw with how I share and process my emotions. That has been a game changer for me as I walk through uncertainty while still holding onto hope. As you said, I have been finding it easier to do as I tap more into the Spirit and those feelings rather than shying away from them.
