As much as I look forward to reading your words, I do appreciate you taking care of yourself.

This month and next is heavy with grief, but my sister surprised me at my house (she doesn't live locally) and I thought "I can't wait to share this moment of joy". We needed each other, and so I'm happy she came. Thank you for reminding to look for joy and holding on to the moments that we sometimes miss.

The past month has been a month of reset from taking in more content. I took a break from consuming so much and literally journaled to dump the many ideas and plans in my head. I slowly added rewatching shows like Kim's Convenience during crafting, or simply reading the newsletters already in my inbox. As much as I love reading books, I didn't crave it. I was okay.

Next month is back to reading books! I have a UK inspired novel on hold at the library and so many shows I'm excited about.

I hate to hear that things have been heavy lately, but I'm happy to hear how the Lord has been sustaining you with rest, comfort, and self-care. I can only imagine how surprised and elated you were to see your sister, especially when you needed her the most. Sisterhood truly is a gift. I look forward to hearing more about this UK novel. I love listening to them on audio for the accents! My reading cadence has also been slower lately with everything going on, but the only thing we can continue to do is to listen to our bodies, the Holy Spirit, and take things in stride. 💛
