Glad you got time out for a coffee and a read too, those moments make a huge difference. I went to the hairdressers for the first time in a year on the weekend, I had a good hour reading my book while waiting for my colour to develop, gosh to read in like that was just lovely! Absolutely loved A Love Song for Ricki Wilde, did you enjoy it? Tia Williams can do no wrong in my eyes! X
Thank you! I am feeling much better now that I was able to catch up on some rest. I'm glad that you were able to go to the salon! I haven't been in a year and some change, and to sit at the wash bowl and have someone massage my scalp just sounds glorious 😩 (along with an hour of reading and just relaxing?!) I love that for you! 👏🏾 My sister and I buddy read A Love Song for Ricki Wilde and we both enjoyed it! Tia Williams is such a phenomenal writer! I love how she just immerses you in the story with every detail. Thank you for recommending it!

I think I will look at my calendar and schedule an appointment! Maybe after August once the humidity dies down here, so I can get my money's worth 😂 But, yes! The history and details were so rich! She's such an immersive writer!
