Happy Friday, friends.
This week has been a week of pure survival. Unfortunately, my four-year-old was exposed to Hand, Foot, and Mouth last week and has been experiencing symptoms since Sunday. Thankfully, the twins haven’t displayed any symptoms; prayerfully, they won’t. I’ve been super vigilant about hand washing and sanitizing surfaces and toys, but at the end of the day, I can only do so much with three toddlers at home.
With that being said, we’ve been cooped up in the house, ready for this brief period of sickness—and this cold front we had in southeast coastal Georgia—to be over. I know it’s not a lot, but I’m tired. This has been an exhausting week, where the Lord’s grace has quite literally carried me each day. Our days have been disoriented, our routines ransacked by sickness and fussiness.
But I’ve learned that grace meets me in these moments when my weakness is at its strongest. When I feel like I don’t know how I will get through, He carries me—just like He always does. And isn’t that the beauty of grace? It doesn’t require us to be strong, put together, or full of energy. It simply asks us to lean in, to let Him sustain us when we have nothing left to give.
So if you’re in a season that feels heavy, stretched thin, or just plain exhausting, I pray you feel His grace lifting you too. You don’t have to carry it all on your own. He is faithful, always present, and always enough.
Let His grace sustain you and carry you on.
Glimpses of Grace 🌤️
As I wrapped up my workout Monday afternoon, I found myself thinking about my wellness journey. While I’ve stayed consistent with exercise, my eating habits have been off since the move—partly due to mindless snacking but also because I haven’t been intentional about making healthier swaps. It’s not just about working out; it’s about the work of planning and preparation, and I’ve been skimping on that part lately.
I lost 65 lbs in high school, so I know transformation isn’t just about effort—it’s about faithfulness. Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how this concept and calling of everyday faithfulness applies to all fronts of my life—wellness, homeschooling, disciplining and training the kids, writing, business, finances, everyday living, and seeking God’s promises. We’re always focused on a goal, an outcome, an end point. But what if it wasn’t about the outcome at all? Maybe it’s about the process itself—the act of faithfulness rather than the result. The Lord is developing us as we work out our faith, faithfully stewarding what He has called us to each day.
The Joy List ✨
Valentine’s Day with the kids. Any holiday always feels more magical with the kids. For Valentine’s Day, I had ChatGpt create a Valentine’s Day themed home school lesson plan where we talked about how the love of Jesus compels us to love others, hopped on color hearts, created tear art hearts, painted crafts, and of course ended the day with a pizza and dance party. It was such a fun time.
My new living room bookshelf. I’ve been taking my time to get a vision for our new space, and it’s slowly coming together. I had been eyeing this bookshelf on Amazon for the last few months and finally placed my orderd. On Wednesday, my husband had some extra time at home before he left for work, so we put it together, and it added a touch of coziness that our living room needed.
Evening baths. Self care this week has looked like lighting a candle and taking a long warm, bubble bath while reading my Kindle after the kids go down. After a long day of tending to the kids’ needs, this is my solitude and my reprieve.

Everyday Faithfulnessby Glenna Marshall. As I’ve been contemplating the concept of everyday faithfulness, I felt compelled to reread this book by Glenna Marshall, and this quote got me the first time and it got me again, reminding me that faithfulness isn’t just for now but for the long haul.
“Faithfulness is an everyday calling it’s regular, it’s ordinary, it’s taking a really long view of the Christian life. It’s reshaping our desires for immediate fruit and committing to following Jesus for the long haul. It’s getting up every single day and believing that God is your treasure, that the gospel of Jesus is worth your every breath, and that he is enough. Faithfulness is doing this again tomorrow and the next day and ten years from now. Faithfulness is ordinary. It’s unremarkable. It plods. It is also precious in the sight of the God who works out lifelong sanctifying perserverance in your life for your good and his glory.”
I’m always looking for children’s books and resources that prime and point my children to the gospel. My best friend
This reel from Kariss Farris on 12 inches (12 inches being the difference between “Well done, my good and faithful servant” and “Depart from me, I never knew you”) is such a good and convicting reminder to be not just hearers but doers of the Word, letting the word live in our hearts, not just our minds.
A Nourishing Note ☕️
Grace As You Go 🕊️
Remember, the work God is doing in you isn’t just about the destination—it’s about the process and who you are becoming. Every act of faithfulness, every stretch of growth, every moment of showing up, and every act of surrender is shaping you. Day by day, He is molding you more into His image. Even when you don’t feel it, He is refining, strengthening, and completing the good work He started in you. Trust His process, remembering He’s not finished yet.
“I am sure of this, that he who started a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” | Philippians 1:6 CSB
